I was in Washington today! It was awesome and friendly. And very energizing. People want action. And the police presence was very much in the background.

today's protest was paid for alright... by the blood of every one of our forefathers who spilled blood for this country since the Revolutionary War. That is what paid for our right to protest, speak, and petition our government for redress of grievances

Allison's observations about the San Diego No Kings were spot on except for the police presence. They did a remarkable job of traffic control and kept any opportunists at a distance. As the march ended SDPD had an assembly at the East side of the CAC. It was the largest assembly of SDPS that I've seen since a procession for an officer killed on the job.

Yet Cuomo said in his horrible debate performance, that New York is under anarchy -well it was quite nice to be among such anarchists, peaceful as peaceful and respectful, as can be …

Would be great, but Rethuglicans can just suspend filibuster and fuck over everyone who needs Obamacare or Medicaid. It really turns them on to hear the kids screaming.

Can’t filibuster anything during an impeachment trial- it is the only order of business. I doubt there are enough R’s to drop the filibuster over ACA enhanced benefits.

I don’t understand the procedures/ motivations.

Wouldn’t the most . sadistic and therefore Republican thing to do =temp drop filibuster in the senate and pass the PunishThePoor (r) insurance cuts/richie tax cuts?

The social researcher was Chenoweth. It’s 11.5% SUSTAINED protest to end a regime. So we have to keep going! We can’t quit after one day!! Keep protesting folks! Keep up the peaceful nonviolent dissent and we can beat him !

Today was glorious. Borrego, CA. I was with my peeps, fellow peaceful protestors. Some folks were in blow-up characters. It was so much fun. No arrests; peaceful. However, there were magats flipping us off. LOL. Magats so pathetic, small, and weak.
