In a hypothetical Dem controlled Cingress Maggie Habermann muses 'what if the entire government refuses to respond to Dem congressional investigative inquiries' Dems send referrals to DOJ to.....Todd Blanche who shitcans them. Then what? Dems stone walled again.
I must add that I've never thought the right wing fears or respects Democrats. It just viewed Dems as an annoyance that interfered with its glorious plans. Then D appeared on the scene with his international criminal connections to 'push' the right wing towards more ruthless, authoritarian, brutal actions. We see the results. As I predicted, the rightnwing simply decided they would steamroller Dems under a dictatorial leader and simply change the system. Having gained control over every lever of power has made Dems impotent and a nonentity in DC. I can't understand notions that Dem leaders wanna just protect their power....cause they have none. They're just has-been losers that suck at the tit of tech oligarchs.
