Trump broke laws that if a Democrat did that, people like you would be calling for their head on a poke. The hypocrisy and the double standard are apparently there to only benefit the GOP. Well, the GOP has lost all morality and those that still support this fascist are going to have a rude awakening someday soon.
“There must be an inner group that makes the laws but is not bound by them, and an outer group that is bounded by laws but cannot participate in changing them”.
He doesn't have any _grounds_ to dismiss the charges. (At least according to most people's reading of Jack Smith's Doc 262.) Saying he doesn't have standing would mean he is an uninterested party which contradicts the fact that he's the sole defendant. "Standing" refers to Article III of the Constitution which says Federal courta are to hear real cases and controversies, so parties must show that there is a dispute, it is a federal case, and the court has power to make things actually better and not just in some philosophical sense.
Jack Smith seems to have a good understanding of the way the Supreme Court has radically changed the playing field and I think Trump's attorney is still playing catch-up. Trump is digging the hole that he's in deeper. In a recent speech he used the pronoun "we" to describe the Jan 6 rioters which is very much what one of the conspiracy charges is all about.

Conservatism has only one premise to wit:
“There must be an inner group that makes the laws but is not bound by them, and an outer group that is bounded by laws but cannot participate in changing them”.
