Judge Boasberg gave the Trump administration until March 25th to prove to the court that it didn't defy his orders by providing flight details OR invoke the state secrets privilege.
AG, It's my understanding that Judge Boasberg is a FISA judge, so has all the clearances necessary to hear highly classified information, allowing him to hear all the information available to the government as he makes his judgment. That makes it tough for the government to say it's too classified for him to hear.
All people that were illegally flown out of this country w/o due process…need to be brought to the US IMMEDIATELY! This is BS & the Convicted Felon needs to thrown in that jail along with his whole sorry ass administration! You just do t do that to people…this isn’t what the US does or should do & he must be stopped! We don’t FASCISM in this country!
I used to think that tv shows like the Blacklist were a little over the top. Now we have a regime playing out those scripts in real time. I now look at every action that this government takes as an existential threat to every person on the planet. I am afraid to even say "God help us all" because this is beyond thoughts and prayers.
Further to all of this, I keep going back to their stupid argument about where the plane was over international waters. I'm pretty sure a plane over international waters carries jurisdiction corresponding to its origin.
Imagine an exaggerated case of a baby being born in the air. That child would still need to have a nationality somewhere.
Their argument about where the plane was is totally irrelevant. The only thing to consider is if the pilot could get clearance to turn around and if they had enough fuel to return and land somewhere else.

There’s an elaborate DOJ approval process under a written public policy about invoking the state secrets privilege in litigation. What’s the over/under on whether that was followed?
The Supreme Court needs to reconsider their ruling when they decided Trump was free to commit crimes while in office. I’d be eager to sign that petition.
