With the corrupt Supreme Court granting Presidential immunity to Trump, he has unchecked power to pardon J6 traitor's without any constraints.

These Presidential immunity judgements have given Trump the power to have the biggest organized crime syndicate in America's history.

FELON Trump will be recorded in the Annals of History as the BIGGEST and WORST Mistake America EVER made.

I will be wearing this "isn't it past your jail time?" t-shirt the next four years 👇

You're assuming Trump and his Corrupt Court won't erase all/any mention of all of his (and their) Corruption on each and every instance of it. Much like they're changing/limiting US History in schools. Make it all dissappear! Dark Times for this country. Very Dark!!

Heather, Article II, Section 2, of the Constitution already gives trump (or any president) unchecked pardon power. The hideous SCOTUS ruling isn't needed for him to pardon the insurrectionists for federal offenses. However, if trump were to do so, outraged members of the House could impeach him and outraged senators could convict him and remove him from office. But we have seen this movie before. Twice.

I would favor an amendment to the Constitution that constrains presidential pardons.

The presidential immunity ruling is unrelated to pardoning powers. The former should never have occurred.

Nailed it. Interesting, isn't it, how long it took all these pieces to fall into place -- years, or decades, even. And while they were busy, we over here were naive enough to believe that civil rights, once won, would always remain, and that the essential guardrails of our democracy would hold. Happy holidays, everyone! Soon it will be time to hit the streets in the millions. There is work to be done! PS: hasn't it been great fun watching the knives come out over in MAGAland?

ugh.....it is depressing. But, 2 yrs from now, assuming trump is still sane, maybe buyers remorse is SO bad that we get a democratic house and senate and they pass "executing legislation" for sec 3 of the the 14th and yank the orange one out🤞

This bogus Court needs to have ethics rules hard and fast that holds them accountable to the Constitution, not their own made up , false , fast lies.

They really have been grandiose and pompous to an insufferable degree.

These 5 judges, that make up the boldest lies to get their way are fair game for questioning from both Houses of Congress. And, no, they do not have to agree to it .

A Supreme Court justice shouldn’t be allowed to accept anything from anyone. Yeah that’s harsh, but necessary given the trouble they can cause and the lack of any way to fix it.

I don’t mean to”overturn or reverse the election” or such craziness. But in the future, given a shift in power, could something be done? Arrest and try the corrupt SCOTUS justices, put in some that will actually uphold the Constitution? Or, is this it? Country is lost. Deal with it…

We just whiffed on our best chance to try that. In my optimistic moments I hoped winning a Democratic trifecta would have allowed a Harris administration to take on the patriarchy. But the powers that be needed to be assuaged that she would keep the status quo that has prevented real progress from happening. And so, the voters, who want change for the better, rejected her in favor of the liar who promised change but will deliver change for the worse.

The question to the American people of voting age is this, does America want the elitists to be beyond the reach of the arm of the law even when found guilty? Did America decide to alter its constitution and allow someone to govern them who has been proven to be a criminal and the leader of an inserection against the democratic vote of the people? How can America now stand up in the face of undemocratic behaviour in other countries now they can no longer lead by example. America has allowed this to crush the hopes of millions around the world who are struggling for the rights to democracy. It's a grave time and the next four years may have dire consequences.

The Rs played the long game over many years, and I don’t think the Ds gave it the attention it deserved. Ronald Reagan set the wheels in motion and the lack of accountability grew from there.
