Anyone who works in close proximity of the federal government knows about thankless jobs. Having dealt with various federal agencies, I have seen firsthand how disciplined agents are. They have my utmost respect. I hate observing how the current administration has absolutely destroyed our country and everything we’ve ever fought for. I never liked Donald Trump. I saw him once to satisfy my curiosity about his reality show. I was as disturbed by his arrogance and could not for the life of me understand his appeal. Weaponization of this regime's agencies against individuals perceived as "disloyal" to the felonpotus is quite systematic. Project 2025 and VP Vance repeatedly stated that purges in the federal workforce must take place. Political purges, not bad work evaluation purges. Some bright day will happen when every single maga in the federal workforce is purged. They're not there to help people, they're there to destroy anything good about governing.

My daughter had an opportunity to work for the federal government when she got her degree five years ago. We talked about it and decided to wait until she got more experience. I've never been so happy about a decision in my life! I don't want her anywhere near this regime!
I worked for the federal government, first at the Indian Health Service then at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, for 30+ years. In all that time, I worked much more than my standard tour of duty. I never resented any minute of the unpaid overtime because everyone around me was doing the same thing. Our mission was to protect the people of the United States and, to a certain extent, the people of the world, regardless of citizenship or heritage. If that required extra hours to accommodate those persons' needs, then so be it — day in and day out. Moreover, many of us gave up the time we earned for personal leave by giving our days to others in the federal government to use for their own or a family member's chronic illness when that employee's leave had been used up. Thankfully, I have been retired for 3 years now, but my heart breaks every day for my previous colleagues who are suffering now. I do not know one single federal employee who deserves the cruelty being dished out to them now. Not one, damn it! As despicable at Nixon was, he at least knew the value of the federal workforce.
It blows my mind that some crazy lunatic, Laura Loomer, who spends her days and nights on X, can have so much influence on a government. What the hell is wrong with our country that we allow this shit to happen and continue to happen? Our country is being run by a bunch of imbeciles and their conspiracy theorist social media addicts.
