Retired Judge Blasts Trump's $1.7B Slush Fund for Allies
A federal judge asked outside counsel to weigh in on Trump's lawsuit against himself that could be settled with a $1.7B fund to pay his criminal co-conspirators.
As you may have heard, Donald Trump sued himself for $10B. Obama appointee Judge Williams asked for outside counsel to weigh in on whether the court has jurisdiction to hear a lawsuit where Trump controls both sides.
Retired Judge Gleeson and three other lawyers filed their brief, which undercuts Trump’s ability to even sue, let alone settle for a $1.7B unsupervised fund to be distributed to his January 6th coconspirators. I break down that brief on today’s episode here:
