By analogy, the judge forbade the DOJ from commandeering the National Guard to fight fires, not because they didn't have the authority, but because there weren't any fires. And the DOJ's response was "we don't give a shit."
As a Californian, I am especially pissed off. Why is any of the CA guard still federalized if it's ok to completely remove them from LA and send them to Portland? Doesn't that mean there is no longer an "emergency" in LA?
No big surprise that this administration has no respect for laws or the court. No honor or integrity in anything they do. I'd say their supporters are hypocrites and are ok with it, but I doubt they're informed enough to know what's going on. Sick of the chaos coming out of the White House.
I hear what Adam is saying… But look at what’s happening on the ground in Chicago. They are rappelling into apartment buildings. They just shot a woman. I mean it seems pretty egregious - what’s being done on the ground?
