How does one protect Americans from terrorist attacks and threats when those same attacks and threats come from within?

Mae's avatar

Oh and also, screenshotting the entire thing about the freedom of speech to keep for when he eventually gets butt hurt over a comedian or late night news host and starts infringing upon freedom of speech himself

Cheryl B's avatar

Oh it's definitely a one-way street. This is free speech for him and all those who praise him and his policies. It has zero to do with anyone's free speech who opposes, disagrees with, or poke fun at him.

All those J6’s are domestic terrorist and he’s just unleashed them. Also how many of you are on Medicare? He just rescinded the agreement to negotiate lower drug prices.

Karen Humphries's avatar

We older Americans are about to stage a non-partisan protest about that.

Jennifer VN's avatar

Which one states that about the drug prices? I can’t find it

I am not a lawyer but some of these seem redundant. Others are not able to implement without changing the constitution, still others were not unexpected. I predict the old felon will get tired after a week of this and head south to ride in his golf cart. We need to stop trying to understand him, and quit autopsies of the election and get on with the opposition. Glad to see lawyers already filing suits.

The whole point was having the project 2025 crowd behind him. He’s gonna let them and Elon impels do the work while he goes off to play golf because he doesn’t give a fork about us.

Cheryl B's avatar

Spot on. Its the reason that having loyalty surrounding him is more important than ever. Elon, Project 2025 folks, and all those who have bended the knee in pursuit of their own greed and power will gladly work tirelessly to do exactly what he wants and demands while he plays golf and drinks in the power and the adulation that all the knee benders will happily provide.

Karen Humphries's avatar

Sadly, he has empowered the people who wrote Project 2025 to implement it.

"Designating Cartels as foreign terrorist organizations" ? Well, that should take care of the new administration and the Republican Party. They can all be hanged now.

They were ready, talking to the wait and see crowd! They have been getting ready for the last 8 years. People cannot be this gullible.. but of course they are!

I’m having a difficult time with those who didn’t vote — Dems have a lot of work to do if we plan on taking the house in 26 -

Debra A. Bickford's avatar

Mr too. My husband and I have voted in every election since 75. We have two grown sons who refuse to vote. They believe voting doesn’t matter. They believe politicians are all the same. I’m a very strong person and a retired educator but nothing I say or do changes their minds. The election of a felon has made it even harder to convince them to vote.

Outspoken's avatar

Such a shame. I imagine it’s gotten worse since the Big Lie nonsense. We’ve so much fixing to do

Debra A. Bickford's avatar

TRUE. And NOW I have to explain how a convicted felon is the president when I don’t even understand it myself. I’m furious because it’s impossible to convince them voting matters. Ugh

Sorry, real question. How does an EO deliver emergency price relief to the American people? Just curious if there is a real answer to this. If so, please explain it to me like I'm a 5 year old.

I laughed out loud when I read this. Only an imbecile would believe he and his staff can do anything deliberately, but corporate leadership can/will throttle back their aggressiveness and make out seem like he did. That's what I expect to happen... (Or maybe not, depending on who is pleasing the stockholders..)

Jobi Linn Schaeffer's avatar

The one thing we didn't learn in basic economics is how to please the overlord. We just got simple supply and demand. LOL This can't keep up for 4 years, can it?? At some point they (the corporate leaders) will turn on the overlord.

huby pan's avatar

Oh I see he started his efforts by eliminating price caps on medication... 🙄🙄🙄

The Heritage Foundation wrote every one of his "Executive Orders"

If you squint your eyes real narrow like, you can see the backlash a-comin' and all those dumb-ass know-nothings newly appointed to this administration of the Holy Stinking Rapist Diaper (blessed by God, he says) who are so stupid that they failed to notice that all the sycophants from the last Stinking Rapist Diaper Administration got thrown under the bus or for whom history will tut-tut, vilify, or laugh at in perpetuity. Some people never learn, and likely many are Stinking Rapist Diaper voters. FAFO.

Hmm wonder who will be tapped as federal architecture beautification director. Someone like Speer?

I’m a faithful listener to Jack — ‘the podcast on all things Jack’ (welp, now formerly aka ‘Jack’) which was fabulous (and I will continue my journey with you) Amazing how this old fart aka convicted felon president could sit and sign 200 E.O.’s!!! Thank you for the links to the E.O.s. I wonder, is the list in the exact order in which he signed them? Because I noted the death penalty E.O. was sandwiched between such ‘light weight’ issues:

……

Promoting beautiful federal civic architecture

Restoring the death penalty in the US

Routing more water from the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta to other parts of California

……

Thank you AG and Andy McCabe for brilliant work and dedication ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Teresa Rabanes's avatar

Next he will declare martial law!! Buckle up! Just my opinion.

JeanneFC's avatar

He also rescinded the agreement to negotiate drug prices for Medicare patients. Take that you jackasses from The Villages who have elected him not once but twice. You can tell he is out to screw everyone because he won’t run again and doesn’t have to answer to his base.

Carla's avatar

I think you missed the one removing remote work from federal agencies?

Smirks's avatar

I guess when he looks at a map, southern California is "lower" than the Sacramento delta area and he knows shit rolls downhill, so maybe he thinks NorCal water will flow down hill to SoCal. Doesn't realize there are a few mountains in between . . . Surprised he didn't direct SoCal to sweep their forests, too.

Submitted a letter for judicial notice to the court regarding the 14sec3 petition that goes before SCOTUS committee in 24-617 Alter v Trump on January 24, noting now President Trump's ongoing and escalating 14sec3 conduct in the form of his orders, threats, and promises of retribution. While it is tempting to laugh at his efforts, when those efforts include a purge of non-MAGA government officials who might resist unconstitutional orders, and coerce every branch of government, it's really nothing to laugh at, because there are people who will follow those orders.

Oh Lord Help, all these "orders" remind me of a park ranger where I worked years ago..."We'll do THIS!", he'd say....then 6 months later it all went out the window. I'm hoping Little Donnie will be tired of trying to be a "president" and go take a nap at his place in Florida...
