My kids are grown. But back in the day, while hosting family on the lake, my 7 yr old son asked his cousin (also age 7), “What took you so long to get here”. She answered “We got out of church late. It’s Sunday, and I’m a Christian. Aren’t you a Christian?” My son, “ IDK. What’s that got to do with being late, that’s rude.” Cousin response, “Well a Christian is someone who gets together with family most weekends and act nice.” My son, “Oh. Then I guess I’m a Christian too, ‘cause our family goes to the lake together most weekends and Mom always reminds me to share and act nice.” At that I laughed!
