California has now passed a law forbidding the seizure of ballots by local officials. As with so much else, no one realized that we needed a law until the sheriff in Riverside California did it.
I believe we've been heading for "this spot" since at least the Reagan administration -- but all those "white makes right" voters didn't realize that they weren't immune until Trump II came along.
