Comments on the first episode of this season of 60 Minutes:
It included one segment of investigative journalism worthy of watching - details of the inherent corruption and the motives and experiences of individuals and helpers involved in the Presidential Pardon Process (The Pardon Economy), sandwiched between a segment on the extraordinary rescue of downed US pilots in the Iran war and on the leadership of the LA Rams football team. Regarding the former, while the stories of the individuals involved - the rescued pilots and the rescue teams, their training, courage, personal resilience and the successful rescue - are inspiring, this segment, which included contributions from Pete Hegseth were clearly pandering to the Trump Administration, ignoring the nature and consequences of the war itself and the role of Allah compared to the Christian God, while the segment on American football was designed for audiences who lap up anything about that sport which is covered endlessly and exhaustively elsewhere. So I would say, one out of three for the traditional special place and role of 60 Minutes in US broadcast televison and culture. I wonder if this ratio will be maintained throughout the season, or increased or reduced.
I remember a brief snippet of a dream last night. Allison was driving a motorcycle that had a rear fender with Breakdown logo, next to a small car with the same paint. She was wearing goggles like the Red Baron and her hair was streaming back. They were moving FAST!
Thank you so much for all your hard work; we appreciate you. Have a great day.
Thank you, Allison.
....great work as always Allison...here on the Daily Beans and on the BreakDown....thxxx for everything you do....

Allison, Dana!! 🤗💙✊
Interesting how your substacks are so different from your social media posts. Pretty hypocritical and short sided. Unfollowing all.
You have the receipts.
Thank You Allison for the update. I believe Mr. Black needs to be held in contempt.
