🙂 Hi Allison!
Thank you so much for all the work that you and Dana do, Allison. I'm a daily listener to The Daily Beans and several of your other podcasts and I appreciate you so much. You and Dana both are absolutely godsends!
Something I wish you would look into with the leaders of Indivisible is the fact that at least here in Santa Cruz, CA (and perhaps other places as well) the No Kings protests do not make provisions in terms of organizing rides for people with disabilities, impairments or limitations to attend the protests or secure a few wheelchairs for the marches so we can attend.
I don't have a car and I am autistic with severe social anxiety (I know you share the anxiety struggles) that makes it nearly impossible for me to use public transportation. I am on SSI and Social Security, so I've very little money to spare for rideshare transportation. Additionally, I have severe respiratory problems which would make it difficult for me to participate in a march of any length without a wheelchair.
Yours in struggle,
(aka) Jonah Prophet
Ends with a little good news!
